sketch of DC's Killer Croc from Batman's rouges gallery.
I drew the more "classic" Croc where he is less anthropomorphic mutation Croc and more stocky man with a skin condition (as he was originally written). I doubt DC will ever revisit this version of Croc but... I really wanted to draw the classic version.

I like the balance of the drawing of him. he's not just a guy with a skin condition, but he's also not a complete animal either. I also like "The Batman" version of Killer Croc as well, and the Cajun accent :)

Hmm I think I like this version better than the anthropomorphic version. More realistic.

I think the arms are pretty good, they make me think of croc arms. But I think you shouldn't forget the neck area. I think he'd be pretty muscled up in the entire upper area. He did canonly wrestle alligators back in the day. So he'd be pretty built especially in the entire upper arm/torso area. So maybe you could beef up the neck area? While leaving the head as is of course. Otherwise it just feels like someone attached a guy's beefy arms to some normal/skinnish guy.

Otherwise I really like this, I bet it would look pretty cool with some color!

Ya, you're right about the neck muscles. Looking back at this, it really doesn't look like a neck that would support the rest of that body's mass.
I think in my mind I wanted to stray drastically from how he's usually drawn but then I think I ended up forgetting that mentality lol. It's something I notice I constantly do while drawing... switching gears in the middle of a drawing/composition so all of a sudden it looks off or like two ideas/images.
I think as an overall image it still looks pretty good but anatomically, as you pointed out, I should have beefed him up in the neck and shoulder area. Thankfully, this was only a sketch I decided to share so IF I decide to render it out further, I would make sure to do this ;)

Yeah as a whole it looks nice and I suppose I may be nitpicking just a tad. I'm glad you see what I was talking about though. And I hope it helps if you ever do render it out!

I like this! I really don't see the Spiderman resemblance. o_0 I wish they would keep Killer Croc more realistic looking and have him like this - the design is so much cooler in my opinion. Great work!
